Tuskarr Mage!?

While we’re on the topic of different Mage races, here is one of my favorite transformations so far. The Tuskarr transformation!

“The Tuskarr are humanoid walrus people who live in Northrend. Although seen throughout Northrend, they make their homes primarily in the Borean Tundra. The Tuskarr culture is centered around fishing and whaling such that a Tuskarr’s fishing ability is seen as a moral guideline of sorts. Tuskarr females farm the few crops that grow in the tundra while also collecting a variety of berries and roots. Animal husbandry exists in the Tuskarr culture, including the breeding of penguins as farm animals.

Tuskarr are humanoids with solid builds, thick torsos, and broad shoulders. They wear warm furs under oilskin jackets. Their heads are blunt and almost hairless, with a pair of great tusks pointing down from their upper jaw. Their brown faces are friendly and expressive.” – wowwiki.com

Yep you can transform into a fat walrus-looking humanoid who likes to fish.

Located randomly in the Underbelly of Dalaran (the sewers) are [Underbelly Elixir] bottles. They have been said to have a 30 minute to an hour respawn timer, and up to 3 can be spawned at most. Your best bet is to just keep an eye out for them while doing your cooking dailies in the sewer, or run around and look for them while waiting for an arena queue.

Not too hard to spot, it is a small vial filled with a green smoke. So far I’ve found them in the water, on the table near the bar, and under the steps near the arena area (shown in picture).

One of the buffs you can get turns you into a Tuskarr. We’ll talk about the other buffs some other time. Not only that, you get a buff which gives you +50 Fishing Skills. The buff only lasts for 10 minutes, and can only be used in Dalaran. That is perfect for those of you who are trying to grab those Fishing Achievements!
