Utada the Noble
During the weekend, the Noblegarden event started on Azeroth, and players all over the world have been spending hours just camping one spot.
Usually I enjoy the in-game world events, but camping egg spawn points for hours for the achievements were downright boring. Why would anyone go through this? For the “What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been” Achievement, which rewards you a Violet Proto-Drake mount. A 310% Speed flying mount.
So I was up early one morning at around 8am, or 5am server time (finally useful for playing on a west-coast server!), and there wasn’t any competition for the egg spawn points. I was able to grind out all the achievements in a few hours, and become Utada the Noble.
Not only that, I was able to pick up the new [Tome of Polymorph: Rabbit]. We have the ability to turn our opponents into various farm animals, but which one do we use? How about them all?!
Random Polymorph Macro:
/castrandom [harm] Polymorph(Rank 4), Polymorph(Pig), Polymorph(Turtle), Polymorph(Rabbit), Polymorph(Black Cat)
/stopmacro [noharm]
/em randomly polymorphs %t.
I’m glad Blizzard gave Mages something a little extra for this annoying World Event. You can purchase the [Tome of Polymorph: Rabbit] for 100 x [Noblegarden Chocolate]. A random Mage on my server also informed me that he recieved his tome from opening the [Brightly Colored Egg], so it looks like you have a small chance of getting it that way too.
Either way, you will be collecting a lot of eggs for the achievements and the new tome. Happy hunting!

Here you can find all you need to know to get through this event.
I just wanted to warn you before you got to the end of the year… it looks like the Violet Proto-drake will be a 280% mount, not a 310%. (It got nerfed in 3.0.8 or so.)
People are saying it is still 310% speed, even though it says 280% on the WoW website. [src]
Either way, I’m still going to get it since I like collecting stuff.
