Happy New Years! Here it is! My first entry into this strange new world of blogging. Why did I start a blog? Well, I regularly visit many blogs everyday to read up some of the things I am interested in, and leave my comments on the various subject. Then I thought to myself, “Hey, I could do this too!” So I figured it was about time I started my own, and kick off a new year with something new. Also, my roomate has been telling me for the past few months that I could put use to some of my free time into blogging. While I do have alot of free time to kill, I’ve just been too lazy to do anything. You know how it is…

So with a little bit of help from my cousin, I got started on this pretty quickly. First the name. “Tuna” was used because it has become a nickname of mine over the past couple of years. You can read about it here. And since “Bumblebeetuna” was taken, I chose another type of tuna that I like. An even better kind of tuna: “Spicytuna”. First of all, it sounds cooler than bumblebee, and second, it is one of my favorite kind of Sushi. Arghh now I’m getting hungry. Yum yum yum…

Next is the layout. WordPress is an amazing tool, and is super easy to use. It takes barely any effort to get things the way you want it to look, and to get things up and running. I based my layout choice on layouts of the numerous blogs out there that I normally read. I personally like the two column layout, so I found one that I liked, and got started. So there we have it! Got it up and running the way I want it to in like thirty minutes, and began thinking of stuff to write about.

I decided to keep this blog private until I have had a few things to read about for when I make it live. So by the time you are able to read this, there should be a couple of things for you to read and keep yourself busy with for awhile. I will try to come up with something at the very least, once a week.

Here I would like to share with the online world, my limited knowledge about some of my random hobbies, activities, and other interests. I will also like to meet new people and learn new things. Here’s hoping to a great start into a great new year! Enjoy!
