Now when I am doing some Battlegrounds, I really don’t expect much other than zero coordination, zerging, a few afk’ing… I don’t really get angry if I am pugging it, I only pug when I am low on tokens, so I don’t mind. Now when I join a preform, I am playing for honor points. Everyone is on vent, there is a plan, everyone is buffed, everything is good. We are getting honor, and having a good time.
If we face a pug, we get quick honor, and quick tokens. When we face another preform, we play our best, and win or lose, the games are usually close, and both sides get a good amount of honor (and plenty of kills). Games are challenging, yet very fun. When you win, you get a sense of satisfication of beating a good team. When you lose, you can see what went wrong, and actually want to play that team again later to show them you can beat them.
Now this is where it doesn’t get fun anymore. Queue pops up for Arathi Basin, we all join the game. Ooh another preform!

I mean come on… is cheating the only way you are capable of having a chance against another preform? Why take the fun out of the game by cheating to win? Is it worth 2 extra AB Tokens to risk having your account reported for exploiting? One of the players in our group had a talk with a GM a couple games later. I really hope they get what they deserved. Arrghh!!

Sorry about that… this and a bad night of Arena’ing got me in a bad mood. I really hope Blizz does something about exploits in the game. They cracked down on afkers in BG’s pretty well, but its still a problem. Hopefully they make some more changes in the next patch.

Damn, that sucks. I hope blizz does something about that. I remember a while ago where mages were able to blink through the eots bubble at the beginning. Glad they fixed that. I think it is only a 3 day ban when you get reported for something like this. I think blizz should make the penalty more severe, something like 5-10 ban or unable to enter bg for 15 days or something. I dunno.
