Week 7/15 – Recap
World of Warcraft:
Public Beta is out and no, I haven’t gotten my beta key yet. It is alright though, as much as I want to test out the new stuff, there are still a lot to accomplish in our current expansion. Still, it would be nice if I were to get one! WTB [Beta Key] PST!
We finally got M’uru to phase 2, and got Entropius down to 45% (our best attempt). M’uru kill this week? Hopefully we can get him/her/it down so we can take a look at Kil’jaeden for ourselves.
Mounts and vanity pets no longer taking up bag space in WotLK? That would be so awesome, and would free up like 30 slots for me. [Source]
Movies:
The Dark Knight, go watch it now if you haven’t already. If you have, go watch it again! Yes it was that good. I had already planned to watch it on Saturday, on like Wednesday and Thursday, some of my friends had already watched it.
From then on, everywhere I went, I kept hearing how awesome the movie was. Even the waitress at the Sushi restaurant I went to before going to the theater was tell me how good it was!
Next movie on my list: Tropic Thunder
Video Games:
Ever since my roommate got NCAA 2009 for the Xbox360, I have grown to hate Notre Dame and their fight songs. Ahh the song got stuck in my head from just thinking about it. I also get urges to punch Leprechauns in the face too.
Anime:
Otakon 2008 is coming up! I’ve been to the last couple, and they were a lot of fun. I’m taking my little sister with me this year, so hopefully she’ll enjoy it too. I was contemplating on having her cos-play, but then I pictured myself fighting off mobs of Otakus trying to take pictures. Maybe not a good idea…
Sports:
Phillies are tied with the Mets for first place in the NL East. Our next three games? All against the Mets on their home turf. Couldn’t get anymore exciting.
Anime conventions in general are always enjoyable. I don’t think you’ll have to worry too much about otaku swarming your little sister. Most con-goers tend to be rather respectful of others, and if your sister has a good cosplay thing going, they’ll know better than to mess around with her costume. Have fun!
