World of Warcraft (WoW)is a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) which has over 9 million subscribers worldwide, and blah blah blah… You can read more about WoW on Wikipedia. We all know what it is. We all seen the many commercials on the television or on Youtube. We all probably know someone who plays it. There is over 9 million subscribers worldwide, and I am one of them.

WoW is a very easy game to get into, and will get extremely addicting. A person can try out the game for their first time, and end up playing this game for years. You would think that playing the same game for over a year would get old, but with game updates, and game expansions, there is always something new added to the game. The world is beautifully crafted, and there is tons of Warcraft lore to build upon. There is also the feeling of excitement while entering a dungeon for the first time with 24-39 other players online to take down a boss, or the feeling of satisfaction when you and your teammates drop a boss for the first time. Then there is also the Player versus Player (PvP) aspect of the game with the Battlegrounds and Arenas… but we’ll save that for another time. Overall, it is just a really fun game to play!

My main character or “toon” is a Mage on the server Nerz’hul (PvP). My mage is Alliance, and is human. The server I play on is a West coast server, so I find myself staying up late most of the time due to the 3hr difference in time zone when raiding. Another server you can find me playing on is Drendon (PvE), an East coast server.
