By taking a sip of the Underbelly Elixir you can get a buff which makes every Humanoid as wearing the Mage Tier 2 Set, the Netherwind Regalia. Even the opposing faction and NPCs are affected.

There is also a small bug that if you take a Battleground or Arena queue while having this buff, the effect carries into the game, and stays on you until you log out. This sounds fun at first, but can get a bit confusing. One second you are waiting for that Mage to cast something so you can Counterspell him, next thing you know he Charges at you and smacks on you with a large 2 Handed Weapon.

It looks like Rhonin also turned in this Tier 8 Set for a set of Tier 2s. Vereesa Windrunner also realizes that Mages are soo much cooler than being a Hunter and rerolls.

After reading BRK’s Rainbow of Proto Drakes post, I went to see if anything cool like that was happening on my server. Looks like there were a lot of bored players on with plenty of time to spare.

When I first got there, only have of the circle was filled. When I took my spot on the circle, the rest of it was filled within the minute. If you flew by and saw this, something just compels you to join in. If you can’t see me, I’m the cool looking Mage with the Twilight Drake.

Don’t Panic! I’m still alive! Well there has been lack of activity here lately, and you all know why. Wrath of the Lich King was released last week, and like many players out there, I’ve disappeared. I’ve been devoting all my free time running around Northrend doing quests, killing mobs, and killing Horde. Fun times.

I’ve been taking my time, and enjoying my travels through Northrend. I am in no rush to get to level 80. I took my time leveling in the Burning Crusade expansion, and I will do the same with this one. I am currently only level 72, and half way to 73.

Though I have been neglecting the site, I have still been taking screenshots of my adventures, and thinking of things to write about. Then my short attention span kicks in, and I have to do more runs of the Nexus, or kill x more amounts of mobs. I gave myself the first week for just playing. Now that that is over, you can be expecting more stuff coming from me on the site.

At first, I had an post ready that was titled, “Mages can get to Dalaran at 71, Lesser Classes at 74″, but a quick Google search revealed that not only did Euripedes of CriticalQQ steal my post, but he time traveled and posted it 5 days ago! Damn you and your Flux Capacitor! I’ll get you next time!

Second idea that popped in my mind was an AoE Grinding Guide. I’ve wanted to do this a couple of months now, way before Wrath of the Lich King was even mentioned. I just never gotten around to writing one up. Maybe just a Northrend AoE guide? Krizzlybear has already made an great guide for players who are looking to AoE grind their way up to 80. So be sure to check that out!

Well now I’m all out of ideas, but I’m sure a couple will pop-up for me.
