I’m not sure I can take anymore of it. Maybe if they showed bigger changes between each episode to show the audience that they’re actually putting some effort into the show. Maybe focus on one of the events for each episode, or even show the events from each person’s point of view.

Here is my version of how they solve this Endless Eight time loop. It is read in the regular Manga format, top-right to bottom-left. Enjoy!

Kyon Wins! Endless Eight problem solved!

I knew we could count on Kyon! Unless Haruhi wants to go through that massive beating 15,500 more times, the time loop would be over.

Thanks to “M” for showing me the picture of Haruhi getting punched (which sparked the idea). I did some research, found the rest of manga frames (you don’t want to know where it’s from), and edited the speech bubbles.

Oh yea! If you want to know what really happens at the end of the Endless Eight arc, you can read that chapter of the light novel HERE. It is like the 3rd Chapter of the 5th Volume of the series.

The first episode of season 2, is actually the 8th episode of the 14 episode season. I’m looking forward to watching the series this season, and can’t wait to rewatch it in the correct order… again.

For those of you who haven’t watched the first season yet, go watch it now! Watch it in the order it was aired, then rewatch it in the chronological order. How can you tell what the order is supposed to be? If you watch the preview at the end of each episode, you can hear Haruhi tell you what the next episode number is supposed to be. For example, after the aired episode 3, Haruhi says something like “next time on episode 5…” So the chronological order is considered to be the order “Haruhi Intended”, and you know you have to follow her orders…

So for the past few weeks, I’ve been organizing my Anime, and even taking stuff that I’ve burned on DVDs long ago. There were a couple of series that I’ve burned, and never got a chance to re-watch them because I didn’t feel like going through my spindles of DVDs to find them. A few good series like Samurai Champloo, Lucky Star, and Haruhi. I’ve pretty much watched all my old favorite series again all last week.

Then I re-watched Beck, an old Anime I watched back in my school days. It was an Anime about music, and about a rock band. This show along with a new series I’m watching, K-ON, another music Anime, have made me more and more wanting to buy a guitar.

After a few days of inner struggle, and consulting with my council, the majority of the votes were: “WTF you’re gonna learn how to play guitar!?” and “LOL you’re kidding right?” Pshh, well after the newest episode of K-ON, I decided to get one anyways! I looked around for something cheap for a noob like me, and found something within my price range.

It will be here in a few days. Time to buy myself a “Learn Guitar for Dummies” book.

Fan favorite, Dragon Ball Z will be remastered and re-aired in high-definition for this coming Spring’s Anime lineup. This remastered series will be titled: Dragon Ball Kai, and will be following more closely to Akira Toriyama’s original Manga. This will mean the anime only fillers like the Garlic Jr. Saga, will not be included (ANN).

This will also mean that some of the drawn out battles which we were sitting through in the anime, will be shorten to follow the original pacing of the Manga. Yay no more powering up for an entire episode, or wasting three episodes to charge up a Genki Dama. Don’t worry, Goku’s power level should still be over 9,000.

With the Dragon Ball series being one of the first animes I’ve watched and got me hooked on anime, I am really looking forward to this. Also with the new live-action movie (Dragonball Evolution) expecting to leave a bitter taste in our mouths, hopefully Dragon Ball Kai will wash it all away, and remind us why this series will always be one of our all-time favorites.

Ophelia from Claymore

Ophelia isn’t usually a character many people would want to befriend, or even want on their team. She is a rather psychotic with a lust for killing. Guess you would rather fight along side her than against but still.

This was mainly the reason why I chose to draw her after seeing her in this pose. If you had seen this series or read it like me, then you would see how unnatural it is to see her sitting there with a cute smile on her face.

This was pretty much the last drawing that I’ve made, and as you can see, that was over a year ago. Hopefully I can make time to start drawing again. Maybe someday I can get my own table at one of those Artist Galleries at a con.

Now a few days later from attending the latest convention, I happen to log onto Facebook for the first time in a long time, and stumbled upon one of my old drawings I’ve done. Again, it makes me want to draw, but I have yet made time to start it up.

Orihime from Bleach

I don’t remember what possessed me to sit down and draw this, but I remember it taking about 2 hours to complete. I do remember where the picture is from though. I remember reading a chapter from the Bleach manga, and seeing this cute picture of Orihime Inoue sitting at her school desk, and wanting to draw that.

I guess the lack of drawing supplies forced me to use other mediums to accomplish my goal. From the date of the drawing, I drew it over a year ago, and I used some Graffiti Facebook application. Back then I used to go on that site everyday, now it is more like once a month.

I did it using only a computer mouse. A Logitech MX Lazer to be exact. Oh boy was that a pain in the butt to draw. I should really get myself one of those drawing mouse and mouse pad thingies. Maybe something like the Graphire Wireless, but you know, 10 x cheaper. Any recommendations?

Despite only having a mouse, and not knowing any drawing techniques (using frames, guidelines, etc…), I really liked how the final product turned out.

The long awaited, highly anticipated Soundtrack for Soul Eater has been released. Probably twenty-five percent of my emails and one of the top three search terms for my site is about the Soul Eater OST (mostly Black Star’s track), and it is now finally here.

Episode 16 continues where the last episode left off, Death the Kid vs Chrona and Ragnarok!

Summary:

After Chrona and Ragnarok shows up on the ship and absorbs all the souls on the ship, Ragnarok becomes stronger and sprouts wings. Kid engages in battle with Chrona, and manages to land successful attack on Chrona. Chrona who was being pushed back by Kid, destroys the ship and tries to escape from Kid by flying away.

Kid summons his flying skateboard, and flies after Chrona. He manages to catch up to Chrona and continues firing at them. That is until the Sun shows up! Upon seeing the Sun, Kid sees how symmetrical the sky is, and is stopped in his tracks. As a result of this, Chrona and Ragnarok manages to escape without any further trouble.

Meanwhile, Maka is in the nurse’s office with Medusa. Maka was troubled by the black blood she saw after the battle with Free, and came for advice. Medusa gives Maka some pills, and Maka leaves. Moments later, Dr. Stein shows up, and questions Medusa about the pills she gave Maka, and confronts her about being a witch.

Medusa, who looked like she was about to attack, starts acting like it was a bad joke. Dr. Stein laughs it off and leaves the room. Dr. Stein later meets up with Sid and his weapon Knives. Dr. Stein said that his suspicions about Medusa has been confirmed, and Sid said that he has found Medusa’s hidout.

Sid and Knives leave to infiltrate Medusa’s hideout. What they didn’t know was that Medusa has contacted Eruka ahead of time to have something prepared.

Sid manages to break in with ease, and finds Medusa’s journal. He reads something shocking in the journal, and states that he must warn Shinigami-sama at once. At that moment, he was ambushed from behind by Eruka’s bombs. The bombs detonate, and destroys the entire building.

Meanwhile, Kid confronts Shinigami-sama about what he had heard during his investigation of the Black Dragon. He asks Shinigami-sama about the “Kinshin closest to them” and if it is tied with the reason why Shinigami-sama is unable to leave Shibusen.

The next episode takes a break from the action, and is another Excalibur episode. Looks like another wierd and funny episode.

Thoughts:

Same reaction I got after seeing the preview for the next episode…

Judging from the fight, we can see that Kid is a step above Chrona and Ragnarok, so we can safely say that Kid is a few steps ahead of Maka and Soul. That is if he doesn’t let his obsessions get in his way. Also we find out that Shinigami-sama is somehow unable to leave Shibusen (which is why he sends out Meisters to do his dirty work), and we may find out why pretty soon.

Also now that Medusa’s cover is blown, looks like she will start making her move pretty soon too. Although we will be seeing a break in the action next episode, we will be getting some good action soon after.
