and where can i find the info on how it was aired?

The second season aired in Japan under the same name, but you can look it up under the name: The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2009) – as most sites have been using that naming. Here is the AniDB for it.

If you scroll up a few comments, I’ve listed the names of all the episodes for both seasons. Since it has only been aired in Japan so far, you won’t find the series/dvds in the US for awhile. I’m not even sure the DVDs are out yet in Japan.

The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan was a nice change in pace. Only 3 mins long each, and each episode was funny. You can watch it as a stand-alone from the regular series.

Wait. So what exactly is the second season? I mean i can’t really find it on netflix or ebay..when i tried to see it. Does it go under a different name or something?Also what are the episodes called in season 2. I want to try and finish this confusing series already and move on to The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan. All of the information on wikipedia is the thing thats confusing me the most T.T someone help me please.

Yea I agree, season 2 was a big disappointment. They had everyone all hyped up about the season, but couldn’t deliver. Season 2 was pretty much just 5 episodes because of the endless eight bs, so that didn’t help.

im kinda confused… i just watched all of season 2 (the endless eight was soooo annoying =__=) annd i dont really get it ;___; the rest of the anime was just them making the mikuru movie..which i they did in season 1.. is there a special way to watch them or something?

I hope the “endless summer vacation” ends soon.. I was very disappointed with all this repetition going on.. feels like they dont have any ideas for the second season..
