Nothing better than good old lore to give you more enjoyment out of something you love to play. Sometimes I find myself on WoWWiki for hours just clicking through names and seeing how everyone is related in someway shape or form.

I remember going to Tabetha for my Mage quests back in the day. If I knew she could be somehow related to Aegwynn back then, I would have actually read some of the quest texts. It is a shame I’ve missed so much story and lore in this game from just blindly clicking through quests just to get it over with.

Makes you want to roll and alt just for lore sometimes…

Of names:

Of dwelling places:

Aegwynn then built herself a small home in the hills near Ratchet, and grew a garden, to live out her life in solitude.

Of her “final” battle:

“Against all conceivable odds, Aegwynn survived yet again. Declared by Theramore’s surgeons to “have the constitution of an elf”, she now serves as Lady Jaina’s chamberlain and advisor under an assumed name — to avoid any unwanted guests. “

“Chamberlain” implies that she is within the walls of the keep, though, which is probably why that line of speculation was removed from the wiki for Aegwynn, though interestingly not for Tabetha. If Jaina comes to play a bigger part in new lore, we may yet see a conclusion to this.
