The Only Reason to Rep with Frenzyheart

At a certain point in the game while you are questing in Sholazar Basin, you will have to make a choice between the Frenzyheart Tribe and The Oracles factions. Most players chose the Oracles due to the fact that you can obtain 4 pets and a flying mount with them, while the Frenzyheart Tribe only has one sought after item.

That is the [Frenzyheart Brew], which turns you into a Wolvar for 5 minutes. Now to answer the most common questions about the item.

  • It has unlimited charges
  • You CANNOT mount or you lose the buff
  • You CAN go into combat and keep the buff
  • No dance animation, only a sitting and eating
  • Has a casting animation much like Furbolg form
  • You can still use it if you change factions

To obtain this item, you need to rep with the Frenzyheart Tribe until you are Revered. At that point, you are able to purchase a [Ripe Disgusting Jar] from their vendor. You can have one at a time, and it takes 7 days for the jar to ripen, at which you can open to claim your prize. You will have 1 of 5 possible loot:

Some players got their Brew off the first Jar, some players it took 10 weeks, you just have to be lucky. I got mine more towards the 10 weeks mark, so I hope you have better luck than me if you are trying to get it.

Is this item worth picking the Frenzyheart Tribe over The Oracles? Nope! But if you are like me, and are going after the Mercenary of Sholazar Achievement, then you might as well go for the faction with the least amount of rewards first. It’s easier to wait for one item to drop than five items, before making the switch.

That looks very cool. What kind of combat animations does it have?

And yes, if you have the patience, it is definitely worth going for this first.

Once you get revered with one, does it then take twice as long to get revered with the other?

That’s unlucky that it took you so long to get. I got 3 of them in my first 4 jars. But, being a rogue, the Frenzyheart also had a Thrown weapon adn a good pair of pants for me that required their faction, so I stuck with them longer than I would have otherwise.

Actually it isn’t as bad to swap rep between these two factions. Normally it would take twice as long (like with Scryers/Aldor) but there is a quest they have for the Frenzyheart Tribe and The Oracles faction which at any point can make you Hated with one, and Honored with the other. So you only have to go from Honored -> Exalted, instead of Hated -> Exalted.

Only other animation they have is /sit, and /kneel. I wished they added a /dance emote.

    @ Kevin

Yea I saw they actually have a decent Haste Trinket I would use for fun, but it isn’t anything worth staying Exalted with them for me.
